Bn88 App — Mobile Betting in Bangladesh, Reimagined

Smartphones are now a part of everyday life for most people in Bangladesh. Shopping, banking, entertainment — it all happens on the phone. Betting and online gaming are no different. bn88 built the app with that in mind — all the features of the website, with a smoother experience designed for mobile.

Android App vs PWA — Which One Is Better?

Android users can download the APK file and use it as a native app, with full support for push notifications, biometric login, and offline mode. iPhone users who add it to their home screen as a PWA (Progressive Web App) get a nearly identical experience — and from iOS 16.4, push notifications are supported too. bn88 has optimised both methods equally.

A lot of people ask — the website has everything, so why bother with a separate app? The difference is in the experience. The app loads faster because certain resources are cached locally. Biometric login means no typing passwords. The notification system is more responsive. And live match scores refresh faster in the app than in any browser.

Live Scores — The Feel of the Game, Right on Your Phone

The live score section is one of the most popular features of the bn88 app. In cricket, scores update after every ball — run rate, wickets, batsman strike rate, all on one screen. In football, goals, yellow cards, and corners all come through the live feed. This real-time data is invaluable during live betting. Having the right information at the right moment is essential to placing the right bet.

The bn88 app offers live video streaming for selected matches. While not available for every match, many games in major tournaments include a live stream. The ability to watch the stream and place bets within the same app is a feature not always found on other betting platforms.

Personal Information & Security

In the bn88 app, go to your Profile section to update your name, mobile number, email, and profile photo. Changing your mobile number requires OTP verification — this is mandatory for security. Two-factor authentication (2FA) can be enabled from Settings to add an extra layer of protection. You can also view your full login history in the app, including the time and device for each session.

A common misconception about app security is that downloading an APK file is risky. The official bn88 APK is available directly from our website and is completely malware-free. The file is digitally signed and verified by Android itself during installation. We strongly advise against downloading the APK from any third-party sites.

Battery & Data Saving

The bn88 app is designed with battery efficiency in mind. Only the data needed for live updates is transferred — no unnecessary background processes. Enabling Data Saver mode reduces image loading but keeps all betting and score features fully functional. Normal usage is possible within 1 GB of data per month — though watching live streams will use more.

Where can I find live cricket scores in the bn88 app, and can I place bets directly from there?

Tap the "Live" or Sports icon in the bottom tab bar of the bn88 app. You'll see a list of all ongoing matches — cricket, football, and tennis shown separately. Tapping a cricket match opens the scorecard — current score, overs, wickets, and batsman runs all in one view. Scroll down from that same screen to access live betting options. View odds, tap your preferred market, enter your stake, and confirm your bet — all without leaving the scorecard. Live streaming for selected matches is available here too.

Where do I go to update my mobile number or profile information in the app?

After logging into the app, tap your profile icon or avatar in the top right corner. Select "Edit Profile" to update your name, email, and photo directly. To change your mobile number, use the separate "Update Mobile Number" option — tapping it will send an OTP to your current number. Verify your identity with that OTP, then enter your new number. A second OTP will be sent to the new number to complete the change. This dual-verification process is in place to protect your account. You can also change your password and set up 2FA from the same Profile section.
